Your MINI purchase is tax-free whilst you are overseas provided you complete all necessary applications as directed by our qualified sales staff.

When returning to the States, provided your deployment lasted at least 140 days, you won't even have to pay import duty on the shipment, once you have a pre registration on the vehicle and some miles to show usage before entry.

Some states exempt military personnel from sales tax upon registration of your vehicles upon return to the USA or allow a trade allowance for any vehicle traded in against your new purchase! However, you should clarify this with DMV.

Your new MINI comes with a 24-month/unlimited-mileage warranty in Europe and 48-month/50,000 mile in the USA. Both warranties run concurrently from the delivery acceptance date.

Should you take delivery of your new MINI directly in the USA, you will also be entitled to free maintenance for the first 4yrs/50,000miles of ownership, this even includes oil changes!

When taking European delivery you will also receive the free maintenance upon returning to the U.S. after you have shipped your vehicle home for the remainder of the 4yr/50,000 mile period. The start date runs from the delivery acceptance date in Europe.
